IMPULSO Program is for students and parents promoting early planning for post-secondary options.
Target Grades and Cohort
This is a 10-month program (two hour each) that prepares students during the most critical high school year 11th grade for university admission. This program is open to students in 11th – 12th grade of high school. The program is offered in English and Spanish (parents will attend to some of the workshops) with culturally relevant materials. It provides interactive lessons focused on the importance of high school completion, higher education, financial aid, scholarships, academic resume, essays, and college/university preparation. Students and parents are provided guidance material that supports a college-going culture.
